Balanced fat profile

WHO & AHA (American Heart Association) recommend using an oil which has a fat profile of SFA:MUFA:PUFA in the ratio 1:1.5:1. High Smoke Point

Smoke point is that temperature beyond which an oil starts to burn. Rice bran oil has a very high smoke point of around 180 degree Celsius, which is higher than most cooking oils.
